Inspired by my vintage canning crates and labels, this RETRO CHERRIES enamel pin is a part of our brand new FRUIT SALAD collection of pins. Each pin is directly inspired by my long time infatuation with vintage canning and crate labels. There is something about the fruits pictured on old fruit canning labels that just speaks to me... the colors, the feel, the composition. I know that they were just meant as a way of identifying and selling crates and cans of fruit, but they are like little tiny works of art in my opinion. They are so beautiful!
