The Little Box of Figs is a specially curated seasonal box with exclusive projects just for annual subscribers. We are so excited to share this program with you once again for 2027–28!
This year's annual subscription begins with the first box in April 2027, but you'll want to secure your spot now so we can order and purchase the fabric goodies for everyone!
We're changing things up to make the program even more exciting!
First: If you sign up within the first 24 hours, you'll receive an added bonus in each of your Little Box of Figs throughout the year — something special that will help you build a whole second quilt sampler by the end of your subscription. At Fig Tree, the early birds always get the best goodies!
Second: We're keeping the price the same. The 2027–28 Little Box of Figs will be $87.95 per quarter, plus shipping. Since each quarterly box includes a full project, this is one of the best deals and smallest overall commitments out there! The retail value of your kit will always be significantly more than your subscription price, as we offer large discounts on several items in every box.
Third: We'll be offering a limited number of extra boxes to first-timers at the end of the year, and those will only be available at full price. Signing up for the subscription is truly the best deal around.
Fourth: We're recommitting to smaller seasonal projects that we can all finish and enjoy in a weekend's worth of work! That's why we all fell in love with the Little Box of Figs in the first place, and we're returning to our roots with fabulous smaller projects we can all work on together.
We have offered Backing Fabric for years when the box releases, but this year you can sign up to have backing fabric included in all four of your shipments as part of the program. With this option, you will be guaranteed backing fabric each quarter, and it will ship WITH your Little Box at no additional shipping cost. This is a great value-add for those of you who are dedicated buyers of Joanna's custom-selected backing for each of the projects. The cost of the backing fabric will vary by project and charged a tthe time of your box shipment.
Choosing this option will save you backing shipping fees 4x a year! Please note that if you sign up for backing fabric you are commiting for the entire year and can not downgrade during the program to box only.
Simply register and pay the $13.85 registration fee now. Each quarter, when your box ships toward the end of the scheduled month, the card you used to register will be charged for that quarter. The Little Box of Figs is a full-year commitment with no cancellation option.

As part of the Little Box of Figs community, you're invited to join our Sew Alongs for all four projects in our Facebook Group, a wonderful community of quilters who are ready to encourage and inspire you every day. Honestly, it's a very special place full of kindness, and we'd love for you to join us there!
Our boxes are a bit at the mercy of Fig Tree fabric collection shipments, but boxes usually ship in late April/early May, July, October and January. The contents are a secret until the day each box ships, but here's what we can tell you:
April's box will be Spring/Summer themed.
July's box will be Late Summer/Halloween themed.
October's box will be Holiday/Winter themed.
January's box will be Winter/Spring themed.
A complete kit for the main project, such as a wall hanging, small throw or table runner.
A small kit for the secondary project, such as a mug rug, pincushion, flour sack towel or a seasonal precut.
One or more of our favorite notions, or something especially useful for completing one of the kits in the box. In the past, we've included scissors, pins, rulers, tape measures, seam rippers, thread and needles.
Special gift items, seasonal whenever possible.
Items created especially for the box by Joanna, such as enamel pins, key chains, needle minders, zipper pulls, seasonal stickers, paper products and labels.
Also, as we all know, the price of shipping is getting ridiculous and we are all feeling it! So in 2027 we are going to ship the most affordable way possible and share the cost of this with you each quarter.
You can expect to spend about $15 to ship your box each quarter. In the past we have always been at the mercy of the USPS changes and rising costs of boxes well over $20 but not anymore!
This is not a sale or discount box all about the "deal". This is a premium, high-quality seasonal quilt box with a FULL project and our favorite specially curated additions that Joanna chooses herself for every single box. The fabric will always be specially curated MODA fabrics and the notions will always be from the best suppliers and vendors in our industry.
Joanna always adds in the notions, gfits and extra goodies that she uses and loves herself. No cheap plastic throwaways here!
THE PROGRAM IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-CANCELLABLE. If you sign up, you are signing up for the whole year. Please be sure that you are committed before you sign up as we do not allow cancellations. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS AND DO NOT ASK US TO CANCEL AFTER ONE, TWO, OR THREE. JUST THINK OF IT AS A FULL-YEAR SUBSCRIPTION THAT CANNOT BE CHANGED. CANCELLATION FEES OF $30 WILL APPLY IF EMERGENCY CANCELLATION IS REQUIRED. THIS APPLIES TO DUPLICATE ORDERS AS WELL.
• Please make sure that if you move or change your address, YOU CONTACT US DIRECTLY. Just changing it online will not be sufficient to change your shipment. Since it is a recurring shipment, the system will keep shipping it to your old address unless you contact us directly. We cannot be responsible for shipments that get sent to an old address unless we speak to you directly via phone or email.
• If you change your credit card sometime during the year, you need to go into your account and change your card FOR THIS PARTICULAR PROGRAM. This can to be done by choosing "APPLY THIS PAYMENT METHOD CHANGE TO ALL MY EXISTING ORDERS". Just changing your default card will not do it. Because this is a subscription program, our system reads all of the charges as merely continuations of the original order and the card needs to be changed on the original order.
• PLEASE NOTE that we have had to institute a $15 per declined charge handling fee due to the enormous amount of declines and back end work that declines create for us. We highly recommend that you use a credit card with an ample amount for your sign ups and not a debit card or a card that needs to have funds reloaded.
• If you file a chargeback claim to protest either a decline charge handling fee or a decline charge handling fee that is noted in the description above you will be required to re-pay the chargeback fee plus an additional $20 re-subscription fee to continue in the program or any future program.
• The boxes will ship within the last 2 weeks of the month noted. You will be billed the week before or the same week as the boxes begin to ship. If product is delayed from the manufacturer, your box shipment will be delayed and we will let you know of the delay.
• At this time we are unable to offer the LITTLE BOX to any international customers other than Canada, Australia, mainland Europe and England. If you are an international customer please contact us so we can verify shipping and confirm your commitment given the cost of international freight and duties. All packages are sent in a medium-size USPS Flat Rate box, and they are expensive, often close to $70 per box just to ship.
• Price is $87.95 per quarter, plus shipping. This is a taxable product if your box is shipped to an address in California.
• PayPal cannot be used for any of our subscription programs; you must use a Visa or Mastercard to participate
• As a reminder, this is the LITTLE BOX OF FIGS with backing program. By signing up, you are agreeing to purchase backing fabric each quarter. You can not downgrade or cancel the backing part of the program.
