Description

This versatile & simple pattern works equally well as a waterproof rain cape made from a laminate as well as a soft, cuddly quilted poncho. To change sizes, simply adjust the length of the circle & follow the tips on the hood template sheet. Made using a simple, no pattern method, this cape is great for any sewer!

SIZE: one size fits most kids 4-10, samples show are size 6

MATERIALS LIST
CAPE:
1 5/8 yds. coated/laminated fabric -OR- oilcloth
1 5/8 yds. flannel for lining
1/8 yd. for straight hood binding
7/8" fabric covered button kit & large snap

PONCHO:
1 5/8 yds. pre-quilted fabric [or quilt your own favorite fabric]
5/8 yd. for wide bias binding
