I am totally in love with this pattern and kind of want to make it with every color of the rainbow for the background. Starting with a Layer Cake makes your fabric selection for the blocks super easy but this would also be fantastic with all of your favorite florals from your stash. Blocks are super simple and straightforward and I think you will be surprised at how quickly and easily this project will come together!

Flower Centers:
1/4 yd. coral print
Stem/Leaves:
3/4 yd. green floral **assumes 3 green Layer Cakes used for leaves.**
Background:
3 1/2 yds. ivory, light grey, taupe or charcoal
Border:
3/4 yd. small cream floral or small seafood print
Backing:
4 1/2 yds.
Binding:
5/8 yd. coral floral
