Making dish towels is one of my favorite "in between" projects and whenever I find a little bit of time, I am dreaming up another one. A bit of appliqué and needlework embellish a plain flour sack towel to brighten and add a bit of charming personality to any kitchen. I think that strawberries are the perfect accompaniment to any kitchen, any time of the year, but especially in summer, and these couldn't be any sweeter!

(1) Flour Sack Kitchen Towel [available at many discount home stores. We like these over all others because of their absorbency, simple feel and quick drying in the kitchen.]

3/8 yd. yellow print
Basket:

(1) green wool fat 1/8 -OR- large scrap
