This particular version came about when I was playing around with a set of pink nine patches and some chocolate brown bars. I love how the nine patch blocks create that continuous chain and the bars create a secondary pattern for your eyes to discover.This pattern would also look stunning in a simple 3-fabric combination of green, cream & red for the holidays or perhaps cream, pink & green for a feminine springtime quilt.
