This is a block that I have seen over and over again as I have looked through my favorite Japanese quilting magazine. There is such wonderful movement and simplicity to it and it is so much more simple than it looks. You can easily expand the quilt by working with an extra charm pack & a bit of yardage & add to the quilt in either direction! Using charm squares for these fun, simple blocks makes this scrappy quilt a wonder to make. The unique movement of these traditional blocks has always caught my eye & when I figured out they could be made from 1 pack of my favorite charms, I knew it would quickly become a pattern!
