Sometimes inspiration strikes at the most unique times & places and the idea just will not go away. That was certainly the case with this ORCHARD pattern inspired by my favorite bedroom rug. I think I worked on 10 variations before I loved the result. Of course once I did, the color combos started flooding my brain! Feel free to choose a color combination that speaks to you, decide on an accent block or flip the whole design inside out and opt for the Christmas version on our blog.

1 1/4 yds. small cream print or ivory solid
Accent Tree [optional]:
1/4 yd. grey on NIGHT version
Background:
2 1/2 yds. orange or black print
Inner Border:
3/8 yd. small cream print
Outer Border:
3/4 yd. orange or charcoal print [note that on main orange version, border is same as background]
Backing:
3 1/2 yds.
Binding:
1/2 yd. grey floral or black print
