Minis are my absolute new favorite thing to do. In between all the larger quilts that I am working on, there is just something wonderful about starting and finishing a mini quilt in an afternoon. It is a perfect way to use up scraps or a Layer Cake or mix and match your favorite new collection with a little bit of goodies from your stash. There is something quite irresistible about these twirling little blocks...they are constructed in quite a basic way and yet they have so much movement and life!
