Maisy Daisies Downloadable by Fig Tree

This is possibly one of my favorite JELLY ROLL quilts I have ever made. Originally created for a compilation book with other MODA designers, I have remade this quilt in several different fabric collections and it never fails to shine!

A single JELLY ROLL, some scrappy low volume backgrounds and a few greens is all you need to create this magical garden. The blocks are simple to put together with SEW AND FLIP and with very few points to match anywhere in the quilt, I would definitely call this a good beginner friendly project.

56 ⅛" x 71 ½"

Fabric Requirements

Blocks: (1) SUMMER'S END Jelly Roll. Use (3) red, (3-4) green and (2) yellow 2 ½" strips for flowers. Use (18) 2 ½" strips for LEAVES total [I chose a mix of green, yellow, lilac, tan and soft reds]. Use (10) 2 ½" strips for CREAM PATCHWORK [see below]. See pattern for more color mixing info.

Cream Patchwork: (2) ⅜ yd. cream prints. NOTE: This is in addition to (10) strips from above Jelly Roll. If cutting your own strips, cut (16) 2 ½" cream & ivory strips total.

Extra Leaves: If you want a bit more green color in your leaves, add (1) ⅛ yd. green print. We added in GRASS EYELET.

Stem: ¼ yd. small green print [green mosaic]
Background: 1 ½ yds. solid ivory or low volume [IVORY EYELET]
Outer Border: ⅞ yd. small yellow print
Backing: 3 ⅝ yds.
Binding: ⅝ yd. small red print
