Each time I release a new fabric collection, I start dreaming up a few simple quilts based on precuts...layer cakes, jelly rolls, charm packs, etc. It is always fun to include something fun, simple, but that looks different in some way. I was so happy when I sketched out this block and found I could make it so easily with a layer cake...I was kind of surprised I didn't think of it years earlier. Oh well...I think we will be making this one over and over.
