This is one of those patterns that I want to make in a dozen different variations every time I see it! So much so, that this is a retake of our original Sea Anemone pattern that we originally introduced with our Aloha Girl collection. That version had strip pieced blocks and a somewhat more complicated assembly. In this version, we have made each "petal" of the blocks one fabric and so we were able to significantly simplify the construction in the process. Simple piecing creates this stunning quilt that looks so much more complex than it really is! Large blocks make for a perfect opportunity to feature your favorite fabrics and create a masterpiece in no time. Not sure if I have a favorite but there are certainly a few more of these in my future!
