One of my good friends Laurie pronounced one day that she wanted to see us do a tree pattern made from diamonds that didn't have quite as many pieces as our Jelly Parfait quilt [a classic favorite of mine]. I was inspired to take her up on that suggestion and Juniper was born! A jelly roll project if there ever was one or something to work on with your favorite stash or reds, greens an ivories for a more traditional Christmas version. This pattern has detailed hints and tips on how to work with those yummy 60° angles without losing your mind. Simple strip piecing and a few important hints and anyone can make a simple angle block like this one that has a lot of places for forgiveness [read that to say "lots of places to trim up and make perfect"].
