I was inspired by one of the most traditional of all patterns, a vintage Bethlehem Star. Of course, my version is a non template, non "y-seam" style that uses the star as the center of a giant snowflake. What could be more perfect? This star would even be wonderful on its own without any snowflake "stems" if you like!Easy to follow directions for using (1) Jelly Roll or cutting your own strips are provided. This pattern pieces the background sections in such a way so that not a single "y-seam" or template are necessary.
You can't pass up this chance to make this vintage feeling quilt with the most simple, modern of techniques. Includes full size applique pieces for the cream snowflake portions and special tips on cutting diamonds from strip sets.
