| Inspired by a vintage antique find, this is our version of a “make do” patchwork, using favorite large florals, toweling stripes, sampler prints to create a scrappy vintage feel. We used actual toweling pieces for some of the pieces and used up scraps in other parts. I recommend washing toweling prior to use to get a more used feel and even perhaps “tea staining” them if they are too white [more info on last page of pattern]. We added the textured fabrics into the pieced blocks and used our favorite florals throughout.. The rest is up to you. Your kit has (21) fabrics plus (2) towelings/stripes so there is a lot of extra to play with to make it your own or to expand the quilt from this layout. Kit includes pattern.
