I have to admit that I am completely addicted to these. I made so many more than I could put on the cover that you would laugh if you only knew...I have always been a scarf gal, loving them in the winter for warmth & in the spring for that Parisienne chic look. So you can only imagine my delight when I realized that I could make Scarfletts from my fabrics the whole year around!
Pattern includes directions for 6 different styles, 4 different finishes, 3 different ways to tie them off, & 2 different ways to embellish them. Ideas & instructions include how to make them quilted, plain fabric, flannel & corduroy, and reversible. You really will have to have one for every outfit...spring, summer, fall and winter! Scarfletts ought to be the new fad as far as I'm concerned...
SIZE: lengths of scarves vary from 32" to 57" and can easily be altered to any size.
MATERIALS LIST PATCHWORK QUILTED SCARFLETTS: (7-9) assorted 1/8 yds. 5/8 yd. backing ** I recommend a soft fabric life a flannel or a woven 10" x 65" scrap of batting ** for the longest Scarfletts; shorter Scarfletts will require smaller pieces. I also recommend using the lightest weight batting possible (suggestions given inside pattern) 3/8 yd. woven fabric for binding ** I highly recommend a woven fabric so that it is more pliable & "scrunches" up nicely after washing
PLAIN SCARFLETTS: (2-3) 1/4 yds. depending on which style you are wanting to make
Optional Accessories: Fabric covered button, large ceramic button, matching thread to your fabric if making "weave through" slit
