This was one of those ideas that came to me one day when I was flipping through a book of vintage quilts. In fact, because I had to use one jellyroll, my color combinations were limited and I ended up with some strong blocks and some blocks that really faded together. At first I thought maybe I would eliminate some of those blocks, but the more I looked at them, the more I loved the soft, vintage looking palette that they all created together. It truly looks like I dug around in the bottom of sewing bag to find all those abandoned scraps to make these blocks just like grandma would have done!
