We are just a bit obsessed with the new "cheater nine-patch" fabric in my newest collection, DENIM & DAISIES and we are making ALL THE BAGS out of it. It is a perfect way to make bags the "easy way" because you don't actually have to piece a single thing but you are getting the look of fully pieced and quilted bags... what could be better?
Our bag making patterns assume just basic quilting skills and do not have a lot of hidden specialty components. The construction is straightforward and I promise we will guide you through it. Our hardware options will make your bags look beautiful, professional and will take much of the stress out of the bag making process. And better yet... both the genuine Italian leather handles and the woven camera strap are 100% re-usable so when your bag is ready to be recycled or you simply get tired of it and want to make another one... no worries, just unclip the beautiful handles/straps and attach them to a new bag!
With this kit you will have enough fabrics and hardware to make all 3 of the bags mentioned and you will have A LOT of leftover fabrics to make smaller pouches [like the Little Jellies pouch shown in the photos] and bags to your heart's content.
The only things not included in this kit is whatever lining fabric you want to use and fusible fleece or foam or whatever you like to use for the middle of your bag sandwich. We will talk through all of these options and provide resources for those things too once we are closer to the start of the SEW ALONG.
