BLUE RIBBON KIT
We are so happy to introduce Chestnut Street to you today. It is a sister collection to our incredibly popular Farmhouse line from last year. It has the same retro-feeling color scheme and this time around we have added a wonderful golden yellow as a part of the group. We think it is just a little bit wonderful! Colors are based on our classic light ivory and accented with a washed, chalkboard feeling black, a soft taupe grey, grass green, tomato red, butterscotch orange, golden yellow and a wonderful bright aqua. The resulting combo is a wonderful retro feeling, classic palette that works for so many different things!
Blue Ribbon is our brand new "large block" quilt, showcasing the fabrics and colors of this collection perfectly. It measures 77" x 77" and is our biggest quilt this time around. When we look at this unique block we see wreaths, sunflowers or Scandinavian butter cookies… what do you see? A perfect excuse to show many of the fabrics in this CHESTNUT STREET collection, Blue Ribbon is fun to assemble and each block is a "wow" moment when you finish. We love that about these large blocks… it feels like creating a little mini quilt with the finish of each block! This pattern doesn't use any templates or funky cutting methods, just our standard "sew and flip" method to get the shapes we want without any half square triangles or that dreaded bias!
Kit includes all fabric for the top, including binding and pattern. The kit is for the larger of the two quilts in this pattern.
Today we are also offering a few of our other favorite brand new patterns as full kits with all of the CHESTNUT STREET fabric, pattern and binding that you will need to finish the quilt stop as shown. CHESTNUT STREET arrives in stores in September, 2016 and the kits will ship out the moment that we receive and cut the fabric! Check out the other ones too!
