Choose a fabric duo that you love, add in your favorite white or ivory background and you are good to go for this striking classic block. There are so many different color & setting options that all create a new look. The block looks complicated but use traditional piecing for all of it! I absolutely love that fact that these traditional blocks set in a new way look so classic and yet so contemporary all at the same time. Notice that the blocks can be set simply, all in one direction or in concentric circles, radiating from the center. Either way it is a fun quilt to make and even though it looks complicated and time consuming, it's not. All traditional strip piecing, some of our favorite "sew & flip" method but no templates or specialty techniques. See inside for many different setting options!
