Minis are my absolute new favorite thing to do. In between all the larger quilts that I am working on, there is just something wonderful about starting and finishing a mini quilt in an afternoon. It is a perfect way to use up scraps or a Layer Cake or mix and match your favorite new collection with a little bit of goodies from your stash. This Mini Jumping Jacks is our mini version of the classic Union Jack pattern and is made with 6 fat quarters or 1/4 yds. and a few favorite dots or small prints for the stripes and cream backgrounds. It is a perfect summer project or a wonderful anytime project for any Anglophile! These little flag blocks are so much fun to make, I kind of had to stop myself at just 6 or I would have made a full size quilt with these mini blocks! Standard size Jumping Jacks is also available.

Collections used include Avalon, Somerset, Tapestry and MODA dots and dotties.
