Minis are my absolute new favorite thing to do. In between all the larger quilts that I am working on, there is just something wonderful about starting and finishing a mini quilt in an afternoon. It is a perfect way to use up scraps or a Layer Cake or mix and match your favorite new collection with a little bit of goodies from your stash. This Mini Blossom pattern is the most simple of the ones we have so far and it is one of my all time favorite blocks ever! The entire project is made from squares and rectangles. You can choose to make it scrappy with mini charms or choose your favorite fabric and feature it for a two-color Mini like we did with the red version. Hard to pick a favorite with this simple block! Standard size pattern is available in two versions in our With Fabric & Thread book [hardback].

Collection used for both the flat and styled shots is our Somerset.
