This is one of those classic patterns that never, ever goes out of style and if you have never done a Lone Star before and have wanted, this is the pattern for you. Starts with a Jelly Roll, so all of your strips are automatically perfectly cut for you, which is incredibly important when working with angles like this star, and works with a “non y-seam” method that makes the whole process totally doable even for an advanced beginning quilter.

The "Starter Kit" includes just the jelly roll, the ivory background, the pattern and a bit extra orange print for added "star rings". Customer will need to purchase a few additional fabrics for borders of their choosing and some yardage as outlined on the blog depending on which version you choose.
