INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROGRAM

So many of you have been patiently waiting for us to post our WOOL MYSTERY 2019 and here it finally is my friends! We have been wanting to do some SEASONAL WOOL PROJECTS for quite some time and decided that this year was the year we were going to do that… so here are “the deets” as the kids in our house like to say [that would be “details” for those of you out of the teenage lingo loop :-)].
• The program will still be an annual monthly subscription. Sign ups are now and the program will start in late February, 2019/early March and go through January 2020.
• It will include all of the lovely wool shown in the photos. It will also include 4 different fantastic backgrounds ranging from a nubby cream fabric, to MODA chambray in a couple of colors to MODA’s fabulous MOCHI linen! I think the wool is going to look magnificent on these backgrounds.
• Throughout the 12 month program, you will be making (4) different smaller projects either table runner, table toppers or small throws. Each of the table topper/throw projects will be around 40-45” inches and the table runner will be a longer skinner version of the same scale.
• Each “quarter”, your project will switch to the next season. We will start with Spring which we will start to work on in February-April, then in May-July we will work on the “Americana” project that will come on a fabulous denim blue chambray. In August-October we will work on an autumn flavored piece on a fabulous light grey Mochi Linen and November-January will finish out the series with a Christmas feeling project. By the time the program has ended, you will have completed (4) separate projects, on 4 separate backgrounds.
• I can’t EVEN tell you guys how excited I am about these. As you work through the projects and if you fall in love with something and want to make it bigger, we will provide you with all the information you might need if you want to expand your small throws to larger ones, etc. All of the blocks throughout the project will be on the larger side (14”-15”) in size and the pieces will be nice and chunky to work with.
• The quilt will be a mystery but you know most of the fabrics that will be used as they are shown above in the main BOM photo. The backgrounds of the 4 quilts will be different, refer to the photo and initial description for what they will be.

There will be some additional fabrics for the setting for each project that will be primarily a grouping of soft cream prints or some accent prints to finish off the sashing in each one. You will receive everything you need
to make the entire quilt top including wool, coordinating cottons and 1 1/2 yds. of each background linen, chambray or other. Also all pattern directions are included. AND IN ADDITION TO ALL OF THAT LOVELINESS... we are sending you fabulous FIG TREE BOX to store all of your wool goodies in as you work on them throughout the year. Its a fabulous box with a fabulous sticker!
• Binding and backing kits will be made available as optional finishing kits throughout the program as each quarter comes to a close.
• Over the course of the year, you will receive (24) 9" x 17" fabrics that you see here.That fabulous grouping of wools alone is a $182 value!
• We have done some
tutorials on working with wool on our blog for those of you who have never worked with wool. It is a wonderful fabric if you have
never used it. Yes, the blocks will be appliqué shapes. But they will be
simple and straightforward and I guarantee that you can do them. That
is the beauty of working with wool... you cut, you glue, you stitch. No
turning, no fraying. Its awesome! And you will absolutely love the feel
and the quality of these wools. We have once again partnered with Weeks Dye Works and we believe that
their wool is absolutely the best in the marketplace. They are
awesome!
• Hand dyed wool is a much more expensive item than
cotton and usually sold in tiny small amounts. In this BOM you will be
getting a whole lot of wool. You will certainly have plenty of smaller
pieces left over to work on other projects. There is no way we could possibly use
up all that wool in one quilt!
• Your shipments will begin in FEBRUARY 2019 with your first of 12 packages.
SOME NITTY-GRITTY TO READ BEFORE YOU PURCHASE:
• THE PROGRAM IS FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR AND CANNOT BE CANCELLED. Please make sure that you are committed to the
whole year before you sign up. Please make sure that this is a financial commitment you are willing to make for the entire year!
• Please make sure that if you move your
address, you contact us directly. Just changing it online will not be
sufficient to change your shipment from shipping to the old address.
Since it is a recurring shipment, the system will keep shipping it to
your old address unless you contact us directly. We cannot be
responsible for shipments that get sent to an old address unless we
speak to you directly via phone or email.
•
Due to the way that Paypal processes its shipments, paypal is not an
option with a recurring shipment such as this one. Only Visa or
Mastercard are options for the BOM program.
• Price is $29.25 + shipping per month for all 12 months. The first
month's shipping will be $14.50 [domestic] because we are sending you a fabulous FIG TREE box to store your wool in as you go and it can't fit in an envelope. The rest of the months will be standard envelope shipping noted below!
• PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ELSE IN THE SAME ORDER. If you order anything else along with this order, it will be separated out and shipped now and charged for shipping separately.
• Today when you sign up, YOU WILL ONLY BE CHARGED THE REG. FEE OF $13.50. The reg fee is higher for this program than the others due to the fact that the cost of all the goodies is a lot higher for us to order! The first monthly fee will be charged to your card in February and then every month for a total of 12 months.
U.S. shipping will be $7.35 per month, $14.50 for the first month since items will be shipped in a box.
Canada shipping will be $24.50 per month [$49 for first month's box]. See note below.
International shipping will be $34.00 per month [$72 for first month's box]. See note below.
Please note that if the US Postal Service changes its postal rates during the year, we will need to update ours to reflect that change. We also really want to apologize for the crazy international shipping. We only use USPS flat rate services and are at the mercy of the post office. We are sorry for that! Please also note that we do combine 3 months at a time of a single program only to help with international shipping only. Please contact us if you have any other questions.
