Downloadable Version of our Jelly Stars Pattern

I know, I know it's another Jelly Roll pattern. But let me just tell you how wonderful it is to work on this unique method of making 8-pointed lone stars without using a single template or a single "y" seam. I'm a bit addicted at the moment to the world of diamond blocks that this opens up to those of us who just don't enjoy time consuming methods like "y" seams. Using a jelly roll just makes your strips that much more accurate given that they are laser cut. Cutting your own strips is a fine solution as well of course! Jelly Rolls or any grouping of 2 1/2" strips is a perfect way to start many simple quilt projects. Our goal is for you to look at the quilt and say, "I really can't believe that came from nothing more than a bunch of strips!" The key to this method depends on accurate rotary cutting & a few well placed pins...that's it! Don't let those stars intimidate you anymore. No templates, no y-seams, no special procedures, just strips and a ruler. These are stars that will shine for quilters of every level! Pattern includes special tips for piecing and cutting angles as well as our special no y-seam method of star block construction.
