Inspired by our recent trip to the Hawaiian Islands, this block is reminiscent of the shapes and colors of the vibrant sea anemones that we encountered in our snorkeling adventures. The design idea was born after discovering a particularly enchanting cove filled with hundreds of sea anemones, each more beautiful than the next. In the same way, we have many variations in this pattern and had a really hard time settling on just one color way and style. This particular version includes a navy background [we use a beautiful Bella Solid for that background] reminiscent of the ocean in the evening and 9 single colored stars. We have chosen our favorite prints that just sparkle against the dark background for a truly striking version of this quilt. Kit includes all the fabric you see here including the colors for the blocks, the navy background, binding and pattern.
