More
than any other collection, Strawberry Fields has been the most requested
reprint for us throughout the years. So we are so happy to offer you
the newest installment in the Strawberry Fields craze… Strawberry Fields
Revisited. It is a yummy, retro mix of some of your favorite prints
from the original along with some wonderful, fresh new prints and a
wonderful new taupe color that grounds all the rest of these soft
vintage-feeling prints.
Today we are offering a few of our
favorite brand new patterns as full kits with all of the STRAWBERRY
FIELDS REVISITED fabric, pattern and binding that you will need to fish
the quilt stop as shown. We will have more photos of these lovelies as
they come back from the quilter but for now we will have to settle for
what we have so that we can give you all a chance to order in time to
get the fabric in the first printing. Strawberry Fields Revisited
arrives in stores in January, 2015 and the kits will ship out the moment
that we receive and cut the fabric!
This medium block version
of Crosscheck finishes at app. 68" x 68" and consists of (25) 8" blocks.
Using a wonderful "Fig Tree Method" for making these blocks, we avoid
any templates, fancy rulers or paper piecing and make these awesome
blocks the Fig Tree way! Inspired by a tattered, vintage version that we
saw at a country fair, there is just something so wonderful about how
this block feels and connects to the others around it into a unique
chain, especially in this size. We use a wonderful green MODA bella
solid for this sashing and a green floral for the border to really offset and make the Strawberry Fields
fabrics sparkle. Kit includes all the fabrics, binding and pattern.
